Roger little – the quiet, efficient air purifier for rooms of up to 33 m2 – filters pollutants and gases, ensuring clean and healthy indoor air. He continuously measures the quality of the air and immediately detects gaseous pollutants such as unpleasant smells or volatile organic compounds (VOCs). If the air quality deteriorates, the air quality indicator changes colour. DOES AN AIR PURIFIER PROTECT AGAINST THE CORONAVIRUS?
Filtering of viruses
Test results show that air purifier Roger little from Stadler Form can remove 99.3% of living SARS-CoV-2 viruses** which cause COVID-19 from the air. According to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), “when used correctly, air purifiers can help reduce pollutants in the air in residential buildings or enclosed spaces, including viruses.”*** An air purifier like Roger little can help reduce the risk of viral infections and thus provide his family and anyone else in the house with the best possible protection against becoming infected with the coronavirus. An additional test confirmed: air purifier Roger little efficiently filters 99.9% of all influenza A viruses**** and aerosols from the air in 60 minutes (tested in a 28 m3 test chamber).
CADR 231 m3/h
The CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) indicates the volume of purified air that the air purifier can produce. Our value was determined by means of independent laboratory tests based on the AHAM standard. Higher CADR values mean that the air purifier can be recommended for larger spaces. The CADR is measured in cubic metres of air per hour. Air purifier Roger little is suitable for rooms of up to 33 m2 and changes the air 3 times per hour. For heavily contaminated room air and for allergy sufferers, Roger little is recommended for rooms of up to 20 m2 – with an air change rate of 5 times per hour.
Polluted indoor air
The air indoors is 2–5 times more polluted than the air outside. We spend approx. 90% of our time indoors and are constantly exposed to this pollution. Typical impurities are volatile organic compounds (e.g. formaldehyde), fine and suspended dust, unpleasant odours as well as viruses and bacteria. Allergy sufferers are also troubled by pollen and the excrement of dust mites. Optimally purified air leads to a great sense of wellbeing, improved vitality, and fewer illnesses. Air quality indicator
Roger little shows the quality of the room air. He continuously measures the quality of the air with his sensors. The air quality indicator lets you know if air quality deteriorates by changing its colour (blue = good, orange = medium, red = poor).
Pre-filter
The textile preliminary filter removes coarse dust particles and pollutants from the air. By doing this, it protects the Dual Filter™ and prolongs its service life. The integrated Sanitized®***** hygiene function protects the preliminary filter against microbial growth. The textile pre-filter can be washed at 30 °C on a cold wash delicate cycle. The antimicrobial protection is guaranteed for at least 20 washes. Based on normal use, we recommend washing the pre-filters every 3 months while allergy sufferers are recommended to wash them once a month.
Dual Filter™ technology
The Dual Filter™ is the heart of the air purifier. It is a combination of a HEPA filter (H12) and an activated carbon filter. The HEPA filter removes pollutants out of the air, such as fine dust, pollen, viruses and bacteria. Roger little is particularly suitable for allergy sufferers, having been awarded the ECARF quality seal. The activated carbon filter adsorbs gases present in the air (bad odours, tobacco smoke, formaldehyde, toluene, volatile organic compounds, etc.) and filters them out of the air.
Filter exchange
The capacity of the Dual Filter™ is limited, which means that it must be replaced every 8–12 months, depending on its exposure to air and gases. Thanks to the intelligent filter timer, Roger little shows exactly when the filter needs to be replaced.
Filtering of particles
Roger little’s Dual Filter™ produced convincing results during the TÜV test (particle cleaning test). Roger little filters 100% of 0.255-micrometre particles (tested based on DIN standard 71460-1:2006). For comparison: a human hair is 80 micrometres thick. So, the filtered particles are 313 times smaller.
Version of Roger little up to the end of 2020 vs. the current version of Roger little
The current version of Roger little (as of 2021) has a familiar elegance about it. With the current version of Roger little, the grille and the pre-filter from the earlier version (up to the end of 2020) have been replaced with an anthracite- or light grey-coloured textile pre-filter with integrated hygiene function.
